I returned my U.S Certification of Naturalization papers to Senator Lindsey Graham for his so-called compromise on the so-called Military Commissions Act. I told him that it was now a worthless Certificate.

That was the best, most useful summation of the MCA that I've read. Especially helpful was the list of resources. I wrote a satire in the Oct. 31 DV where I had the torturer-in-chief babbling about the MCA. The only thing that can be taken from all of this is that, as usual, the capitalist class is about 5 steps ahead of the working class and they can see the shit coming, the inequalities exploding into unrest and crisis, so they're laying the ground work for their police state now. The working class doesn't even know that it should be rebelling and fighting back and the capitalist class looks at us, puzzled, wondering when we're going to blow. They know their interests and they know ours and we know neither. That's the only thing that explains the wording in the Act. They want total control, everywhere, at all levels of society.

I read The Truth About the Military Commissions Act and thought it was great. I get pretty excited when I see anybody writing the truth, because most Americans have rolled over and shut their eyes to the nightmare that's going on right now. I'm wondering if you're planning to write anything about the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, which -- if it passes on Nov. 13th -- will almost certainly collaborate with the Military Commissions Act and
could easily result in horrifying consequences for radical activists, regardless of citizenship. I don't see how this new bill could fail to pass in the House, since it apparently received unanimous approval in the Senate. Either way, people definitely need to know about it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts. Your article is dead on and the American public has been fed a lot of lies and is being led willingly to the gallows. I am appalled at the naiveté f my countrymen and women who have failed to stand up and take notice. My fear, and I am not the only one sharing this view, is martial law is next….With that will come a massive arrest and roundup of hundreds of thousands of citizens taken to holding camps, detention centers and military bases where they will become "disappeared". Bush has been given the power to do that (declare martial law and activate the military within the United States) without consent of Congress: Anyone! I never thought I would live to see our country so destroyed in such a short time by a cabal so bent on their own agenda no matter the cost or destruction caused.

I believe you miss the deeply thought-out plan of our president to end terrorism once and for all. He is not so dumb or superficial as you make him out to be. You see, Aaron, President Bush is "temporarily" taking away our rights under the Constitution in order to eliminate the very reasons the terrorists attack us in the first place. Our president has told us time and again that the reasons for the hatred toward us are because of our freedoms and way of life. So if we have no freedoms and our way of life is altered through wide spread fear, then the terrorists will no longer hate us and we will no longer their target. Now Aaron, don't you think more highly of our president?
